Opportunities for Beginners

We offer a FREE TRIAL CLASS every Friday from 7 to 8 pm at our regular studio at 2030 Frankford Ave.  Feel free to come any Friday to try tango for the first time.

Our curriculum begins with a Two-Day Beginner Intensive, which takes place once monthly on a Saturday and Sunday.  The Beginner Intensive covers the basics of tango vocabulary, structure, technique and lead-and-follow improvisation. We change partners after every song, so there's no need to bring a partner (though you're welcome to if you have one!). The Intensive prepares students to enter directly into our Advanced Beginner Level.
