Lisandro Adrover is one of the great bandoneonists and tango composers of our time. He has enjoyed a successful career as a performer, sharing the stage with Roberto Goyeneche and Osvaldo Pugliese, among many other tango greats, and has toured throughout the world. His music has been featured in films like The Impostors (1998) and Fermin (2014). He was a cast member of “Tango Argentino,” widely regarded as the show that renewed interest in tango worldwide. He is the composer and arranger for the Broadway and London hit show, “Forever Tango.” He has composed major works for and appeared as soloist with symphony orchestras, including conducting and recording with the Metropole Orchestra of the NPS Radio Netherland. Both were expertly filmed by Yael Szmulewicz and her team in an exquisite antique home in the San Telmo neighborhood of Buenos Aires.
The result was so moving that we decided to additionally release it as an album entitled Bandoneon Soliloquy,
